Lifestyle Homes is the evolution of Todd Bailey’s original building company, R. T. Bailey, Inc., founded in the year 2000.  With a laser focus on building custom homes, the business thrived because of Todd’s attention to detail and his patience in working together with his customers to deliver a home that inspired pride and satisfaction in all who were involved.

Over the course of the last quarter century, that business has grown to include the construction of many multi-million-dollar homes, mid-range luxury homes, as well as entry level, single family homes and townhomes. Whatever product Todd built, the same level of commitment and quality was given to each home. Todd’s motto is “the home being bought is that buyer’s dream home” whether it was $200,000 or $2,000,000. A home designed for every season of your life.

In the mid-2000’s, Todd began developing land to build upon and purchasing land from other developers. This new business venture provided a different lens with which to understand the needs of both the buyer and builder and helped Todd to deliver a better overall product to his customers. Since that time, Todd has developed over 15 communities where value, location and lifestyle come together to deliver the right fit for our customers. There are usually 3-5 community projects in differing stages of engineering, development and home building going on at any one time.

As Todd’s business grew, the Lifestyle Homes, LLC, moniker was created to offer key employees a level of ownership in the business. Since Rodney Scruggs has become a partner, Lifestyle Homes now has an owner on each job, every day, making sure that nothing is sacrificed, the customer is satisfied, and the long-term success of the company will continue.

With offices in Evans, Georgia and Greenwood, South Carolina, Lifestyle Homes works with buyers to assist in all aspects of the home building business. In 2024, the company increased its commitment in Greenwood County with the purchase of the remaining golf course lots in the Grand Harbor community in Ninety-Six, South Carolina. This purchase allows Lifestyle homes to target buyers in multiple sizes and price points of homes, offering options from attached townhomes to large 1+ acre homesites. Additionally, Lifestyle Homes has several other communities in development in the Greenwood area including lakefront “The Retreat @ Grand Harbor.” In 2025 Lifestyle Homes will begin townhomes in Magnolia Landing and later that year Patriots Landing in the town of Ninety-Six. Lifestyle Homes has maintained its custom-building roots, offering design and building services to those who own their own property—be it lakefront or private wooded—providing the same high level of quality and fair price to each and every customer.
