Lifestyle Homes Builder Warranty Program

We hope you’re enjoying your home! While we always strive for perfection, we realize warranties exist for a reason. Covering your home for 10 years, Lifestyle Homes partners with Liberty Mutual’s Quality Builders Warranty to provide fast, reliable warranty repairs. 

Here’s how it works: 

Lifestyle Homes offers a warranty for Year 1. During a new home’s first year, we understand that some of the tens of thousands of items on our building workplan, can be installed incorrectly or may otherwise need repair/replacing. Also, new homes in the South traditionally experience some shrinkage due to moisture and/or humidity during construction; which leads to sheetrock, wood or other blemishes. Lifestyle Homes suggests that you’ll want to start a list—maybe one electrical outlet isn’t functioning, perhaps there is a crack in the decorative molding joint at the ceiling. At the 11 month mark, we want you to call us so that we can perform your first year walk through and any warranty repairs necessary. We’ll come in and take care of any of those unforeseen items with the exception of landscaping since the weather takes shrubbery and sod health out of our control. Our contract/builder addendum lists some of the limitations that we have on warranty as well as what the Quality Builders Warranty program contains. 

Lifestyle Homes warrants all structural items for the first 2 year in addition to the 1 year warranty. After the builder is through with their warranty, if anything occurs in the ensuing 8 years, you’ll contact Quality Builders Warranty directly for any of the items that are listed on the protection plan brochure. Your home will be registered with them at the time of closing when you will receive a full warranty book and have access through their online portal. Best of all, the remainder of the warranty is transferable to a new owner should you sell your home within those first 10 years. As always, Lifestyle Homes goes the extra mile in offering you a warranty program well beyond that which is required by the State of South Carolina.
